While enjoying a day off down in the “Dirty South”, Far East Movement talked with Super Snake on Thursday afternoon about the group’s new album Dirty Bass, touring with LMFAO and what major artist the group would like to work with next!
“Man thank you guys for reppin’ that bass!,” Kev Nish said. “We know everything we go out there (Phoenix) we hear cars bumpin’. It’s a good feeling.”
The group recently just debuted their new video for “Dirty Bass” that features Tyga and spoke on how the collaboration and video came about.
“ We actually met him (Tyga) while we were on tour with Lil Wayne. He was mad cool., We did a homemade music video. Just our crew with some cameras and shot the video.” Nish says about working with Tyga.
Nish gives us an inside glimpse on how crazy its been like touring with LMFAO? “Its boomboxes, booty shaking, dirty bass and whole lot of zebra prints. It’s nuts!”
What artist would Far East Movement would like to work with? Let’s just say he’s one of the biggest artist in music right now!
“Unfortunately since Jay-Z doesn’t return our phone calls or anything.” Nish says jokingly. “This whole album was just people that we just met along the way whether it was Justin Bieber to Tyga. Where ever the road takes us and who we meet, we can set up a microphone in our bathroom and record.” Nish says
With the group being in the “dirty bass” capitol of the world (Miami), it was only right for Snake to ask the group who the’re rooting for to win the NBA Finals?
“Prohgress is rooting for OKC (Thunder) and D.J. Virman is actaully rooting for Miami., So it like a inter group battle going on right now. I’ma stay out this battle. You know I’m from L.A.” Nish tells Snake
Far East Movement’s new album Dirty Bass is in stores now and features Tyga, Pitbull will.i. am and others.
