I promise you …you are NOT going to want to miss the Olympics this year! Not only is it the premiere stage for the best athletes in the world …but the best artists in the world will be there too. Everyone from Jay-Z, Rihanna, David Guetta and Elton John will be performing.
And if that isn’t enough …films from the likes of Alfred Hitchcock and Mike Leigh, as well as art from Yoko Ono and others will all be part of the 2012 London Festival. This cultural celebration across Britain will be tied to the Summer Olympics that all begins today!
The festival will run through Sept. 9, and will have 12,000 events and performances across the country in celebration of the Summer and Paralympic Games. There will be 10 million tickets for free and paid-for events in such fields as film, music, theater, fashion, dance and art. This festival is looking to be “the biggest festival the U.K. has ever seen.
