It was a big day Tuesday …well at least for theaters across the country. Sony‘s The Amazing-Spider Man had a record-breaking opening day with $35 million. As a matter a fact, it was the biggest Tuesday opening since 2007 when Transformers made its debut with $27.9 million.
The movie, which stars real life lovebirds Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, is expected to bring in between $120-$140 million over the six day debut. With an opening day like it had, we wouldn’t be surprised if it surpasses that …by a lot!
