A new friendship is brewing and it may be a little surprising. First Lady Michelle Obama and Gwen Stefani are teaming up to host a presidential fundraiser.

The event will take place at Gwen’s Beverly Hills home on August 12, and if you want to go all you have to do is pay $1000.

George Clooney, Ryan Murphy and Sarah Jessica Parker have all hosted similar events, but this one will be different because it will place much more emphasis on family. The party will of course be child-friendly and will cost families of four a $1000 donation to attend ….but in order to shake hands and personally meet Gwen and the first lady, a $5000 donation will have to be made.
