Beyonce has taped an interview with Anderson Cooper which will air tonight on his show Anderson LIVE. Word is Beyonce opens up significantly about her life as a career woman, wife and most importantly, mother to baby Blue Ivy.

“[Having a daughter] just gives you purpose and all of the things that my self-esteem was associated with,  it’s all completely different,” Beyonce said in the interview, “I realized why I was born and more than anything all of the things I want to pass onto my child and the best way of doing that is not by preaching or telling her but showing her by example, which is one of the reasons I’m here,” she explained.

Being a good example seems to be extremely important to Beyonce. She has said on more than one occasion how Blue has “changed her life.” But will this change her music? Will it change her sexy style? Will she maintain her sultry alter-ego Sasha Fierce? I truly hope she does.

I’m a firm believer of having balance. I think it’s wonderful that she and Jay-Z fell in love in such an organic way. Got married. Enjoyed each other. Started a family. All the while she maintained her career. We all remember seeing Beyonce’s baby bump for the first time at the MTV VMAs right?

I’m just saying, Beyonce is so amazingly talented that she can still be a positive example as a role model and mom and be rocking that stage in sexy stilettos. It can be done and if anyone can do it, it’s her. Look at Victoria Beckham. Her kids appear happy. She and her husband raise them together and they both work. She is a fashion icon. It can be done, she does it with 4 little ones, Beyonce can catch up if she wants. LOL

Beyonce has already revealed that she “definitely” wants to have more kids, but says “I don’t know how many. God knows, I don’t know yet.”

Tonight’s interviewing will feature Anderson and Beyonce discussing nursery rhymes and diaper duties. “He’s very good [at changing diapers] We both do. I love changing diapers, I love it. I love every moment of it. It’s so beautiful.” I sing nursery rhymes [to Blue] and I’m mommy and when she sees me, today was the first time she saw me perform in rehearsal, she was very confused”

I’m rooting for Beyonce as a mom, a wife, a performer, philanthropist and all around good woman. I love that she wants to set an example. No one said moms had to be prudes, why can’t they be hot and hard-working and fabulous? Thay can! You can! We can!
